Model Photography

I will occasionally put together a session just to hone my skills, or force myself to step out of my comfort zone and try different lighting, styles or techniques. I’ve been wanting to do a 70’s vibe photo session, done in the the style of longtime Cosmopolitan photographer, Franceso Scavullo. He was a master of using basic studio lighting and backgrounds, contrasted against bright/vibrant outfits and makeup. Once again, I contacted Paige to do the makeup. She totally nailed the look I was trying to achieve. Add to that some vintage, Bohemian style outfits and we were off and running.

I also included a “before” picture at the end of the gallery.

Hannah was the first model to get in front of my camera for this session. Her already beautiful eyes were really enhanced Paige’s stunning makeup. The geoprint dress just pulled it all together.

Interesting side note. Hannah is still in high school and was headed off to a school dance after this session. Paige did a complete makeover for the event and we shot a few a pix at the end of the session in two of her prom dresses.
